About Marilyn:
Marilyn was introduced to the field of alternative health very early in life. Her mother owned a health food store & holistic center. In time she started working at her mother's business and for over five years she was exposed to many holistic practitioners who provided a variety of services. This opened her eyes to many different holistic modalities and a thirst for healing knowledge that is still strong today.

Upon completion of high school Marilyn decided to move to Edmonton to further her education in natural health by attending the Holistic Health Practitioner program at Grant MacEwan. She studied different holistic practices in the program such as herbology, flower essences, Reiki and various other specialties. After graduating in 2005 and receiving her diploma in HHP, Marilyn continued with taking courses through the Alive Health Academy studying Nutrition.

She's enjoyed sharing her knowledge and gaining valuable experience consulting with customers at different health food stores. She was able to practice Reiki, ionic foot detox, as well as educate her clients about herbs and nutrition. It is her passion to help heal others and bring to them abundant health. It makes her very happy to be part of the Health Matters team as she strives to offer her best.

Starting in October 2011 Marilyn will be offering services such as the ionic foot detox and ear candling which she will be taking over from the lovely Betty-Anne.
